Leeds United host Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road this weekend. The Whites will be hoping to put another win on the board in their battle for survival.
The club are full of confidence after getting a win over Manchester United at Old Trafford. The win now sees them six points clear of the relegation zone with seven games to go. Nothing has been decided yet, but another result could change the relegation picture in the coming days.
Daniel Farke confirmed this week that Ao Tanaka and Gabriel Gudmundsson will be available for selection, after both picked up knocks recently. However, Anton Stach and Joe Rodon have been ruled out for the game.
Wolves star speaks on Leeds United game
Every Leeds fan will be hoping for a win this weekend, especially after Wolves lost 4-0 to West Ham last weekend. But Rob Edwards’ side will be keen to prove that they are no pushovers. Wolves striker Adam Armstrong has said that his team will treat their upcoming games as ‘finals’.
“We’ll take every game as it comes and the standards that we drive is to try and be the best that we can be, and that’s what we’re trying to do. For the next six games, we’ve just got to keep going as well as we can.
“Performances get people talking, and I think that’s something that we’ve been doing. It’s not just about drawing a game or winning a game, it’s actual performances of individuals and the team. We have to take the next six games like cup finals and whatever happens, we’ll take it from there.”
Wolves have beaten Liverpool and Aston Villa over the last month, and will not be an easy task for the Whites.

Daniel Farke’s men need to get back on track at home
Leeds have been able to get something from their last five away games. Daniel Farke seems to have found a solution to the Whites’ performances on their travels. But the home form is currently nothing to write home about. Leeds have not won a game at home since February, and have lost two of their last three matches at Elland Road. They need to make sure to get back on track starting with this game against Wolves. Going into the game, they must know how important three points will be as it could lead them nine points clear of the relegation zone if other results go their way.
