Leeds United went into the international break on a high following their result against Crystal Palace. However, Daniel Farke has not been acknowledge in the latest awards by the Premier League.
Last year, the Whites were tipped to be relegated with some pundits predicting Farke to be sacked before the season ends.
This time around, the team have started the year on an impressive tangent. They won just one game in four to start the previous season, but have now gone unbeaten in this campaign.
What makes it more impressive is that the results came against top clubs.
Leeds faced Newcastle United, Brighton, Brentford and Nottingham Forest in their first four games.

On Thursday, the Premier League announced the nominees for Barclays Manager of the Month.
The current nominees are Manchester City boss Enzo Maresca, Brighton and Hove Albion’s Fabian Hurzeler and Liverpool’s Andoni Iraola.
What will definitely come as a shock to Leeds United fans is that Daniel Farke has not been nominated. Guiding the club to an unbeaten start to the season in five games deserves some plaudits.
The Whites are currently in fifth place in the league, six points off league leaders Manchester City.
Enzo Maresca no doubt deserves the accolades, winning all five of his first games in charge as City boss. Fabian Hurzeler guiding his side to impressive wins over Aston Villa, Manchester United and Arsenal deserves credit.
Both coaches have their teams in the top four of the table going into the international break.

Leeds boss was much better than Andoni Iraola
Maresca and Hurzeler no doubt should be in the running for Manager of the Month, but to have Iraola over Farke is unfair.
Liverpool and Leeds have an identical start to the season, but a critical look shows that the Whites should have a more impressive start. Their schedule has been more competitive than Iraola’s.

The Reds won two games in September, while Leeds managed just one.
But Leeds beat Newcastle, while Iraola’s side beat newly-promoted Ipswich and Bournemouth. They were also held to a draw by Fulham, who are languishing near the bottom of the table.
The stats also favour Farke’s men when looking at goals scored, with Leeds having five goals in three games in September.
Daniel Farke’s snub shows that there is bias towards top six clubs, because if Iraola was doing what the Leeds boss has done, he would be the favourite to win the award itself.
Get over it, Leeds will drop down the league when the other teams start to click. 33 games to go.
