Leeds United have seen more departures than arrivals at Elland Road this summer. Fans have expected a very big transfer window ahead of the new season.

Club chairman Paraag Marathe already promised the fanbase that there would be investment.

And he was right, as the Whites landed highly sought after free agent Harry Wilson. Leeds beat clubs like Everton and Aston Villa to his signature. The deal for Tarik Muharemovic is on the cards.

Per reports in Italy, the club will pay £34 million for the Bosnian defender.

So far, the team have also seen multiple exits; Illan Meslier, Sam Byram, Pascal Struijk and Karl Darlow. Struijk left to join Brighton while the other three players left when their contracts expired.

Karl Darlow’s exit came as a bit of a shock to Leeds United fans.

He finished last season as the club’s number one after Daniel Farke decided to bench Lucas Perri. Darlow was offered a new deal when he became a free agent, but he turned it down.

The Welshman officially signed for Manchester United this week.

Michael Carrick’s club were also hot on the tail of another former Leeds player, but things seem to have taken a sharp turn.

Crysencio Summerville is a wanted man after his last season with West Ham and performances at the World Cup. He has gained serious interest across Europe since the window opened.

Sky Sports News are reporting that AS Roma have launched a £38 million bid for the star winger. Summerville is almost certain to leave the Hammers, who were relegated this past season.

Leeds could do with a wide threat this summer

Noah Okafor was the marquee attacking signing last summer; coming into the team with a big fee.

He started off the season a bit slowly, before he came into his own in the second half of the season. Okafor was a lively spark in a sometimes dull Leeds United attack this past season.

The backups in Wilfried Gnonto and Dan James were not up to standard when they played.

Daniel Farke and the 49ers should look to the market to see if they can find options ahead of next season. Getting more quality in the attack will surely help the Whites in their upcoming Premier League campaign.
