Leeds United are set to be very busy in the coming days after news emerges about possible January transfers. The Whites are already negotiating an exit for one of their first team players.
Jack Harrison is set to move to Fiorentina, but Leeds are putting the final touches on a potential deal, insisting on an obligation to buy for the loan deal. This move comes after the club loaned out Harry Gray. It was also confirmed on Wednesday that a deal has been agreed for Brighton midfielder Facundo Buonanotte.
Leeds could pull off some key moves to bolster the squad ahead of the second half of the campaign.
Leeds United boss gives verdict on signing new striker
In Thursday’s press conference, Daniel Farke dropped a huge hint that Leeds may be on the trail of signing another striker. The German say he cannot rule out adding quality to the squad:
”I’m always greedy, can’t get enough points and quality players. It is important to make decisions which are good for the group.”
”You need competition but need to make sure the group is not too big, players feel trusted and backed.”
”Too many options are not beneficial for team spirit and self confidence of players.”
”We have to make good decisions but I’d never rule out a quality signing.”

Wolves man would be the perfect fit
It was reported earlier today that Leeds could be handed a golden opportunity to sign a Premier League striker. According to reports, Jorgen Strand Larsen has been offered to multiple Premier League clubs including Daniel Farke’s side. His agents are keen to move him on from Wolves, who are currently bottom of the Premier League. The Norwegian international’s stock has fallen a bit over the past few months; he was wanted by Newcastle in the summer but stayed with his club.
| Season | Club | Games Played | Goals | Assists |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2023/24 | Celta Vigo | 39 | 13 | 3 |
| 2024/25 | Wolves | 38 | 14 | 5 |
| 2025/26 | Wolves | 23 | 6 | 2 |
He has not been in the best form this season, but his team are struggling and in most games they cannot get him the ball. Strand Larsen could be the perfect foil for Dominic Calvert-Lewin under Daniel Farke, his record in England has shown he can find the back of the net consistently. It would be a great move for Leeds too as it directly weakens a relegation rival.
