Leeds United are closing in on signing Harry Wilson after reaching an agreement with the player. However, they remain in the market for a striker.
The Whites will hope to avoid any late transfer hijack attempts and get a deal over the line to sign Wilson on a free transfer after he passes a medical in the coming days.
Leeds are also in talks to sign Julian Brandt, who has emerged as one of the big targets for Daniel Farke, and they remain keen to improve their central defensive and midfield options.
However, signing a striker remains one of their biggest priorities, and one of the forwards they have been tracking now has a new suitor in the market this summer.

Brentford enter the race for Leeds target Zian Flemming
Zian Flemming was one of the bright sparks of a poor Burnley side who went straight back down to the Championship at the end of last season.
The 27-year-old Dutch forward stood out in the Burnley side and finished the season as the club’s top scorer with 11 Premier League goals in 29 appearances.
He is almost certain to leave Burnley this summer, and Leeds are among the clubs that are interested in snapping up the striker in the ongoing window.
Leeds believe he has the quality to strengthen their attack and provide a reliable source of goals alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
However, according to Dutch magazine Voetbal International, Brentford are also interested in signing Flemming from the Clarets ahead of the new season.
The London club also want to add more goals to their squad, and Flemming has emerged as a good market opportunity after Burnley’s relegation.
However, a few more Premier League clubs are chasing him, and the forward has several serious options on the table this summer.
Flemming has not decided on his next club and wants an appealing sporting project before he picks a new destination.
He will be a solid signing for Leeds
Flemming scored 11 Premier League goals for a Burnley side that looked destined for relegation since the early weeks of the 2025/26 campaign.
The 27-year-old proved himself in the top flight and is almost certain to find another Premier League club this summer.

Leeds should not miss out on this market opportunity as they are unlikely to find a proven goalscorer like him at a more affordable price point.
Burnley’s relegation means Flemming is likely to be available for a much more affordable fee in the ongoing transfer window.
