Daniel Farke has been a big part of Leeds United’s resurgence since they were relegated. The club have now earned themselves a second season in the top flight since winning promotion.
When the Whites went down, a lot happened on and off the pitch.
Players sought moves away from Elland Road and there had to be a whole squad revamp. The efforts of the ownership to bring players in eventually paid off down the line.
Under Farke, Leeds have built a solid core of the team, with many making it to the Premier League.
The club are heading into next summer with Daniel Farke’s contract running out. His future has been widely discussed since the end of last season.

Leeds United could have gone down a much different path over the last three years.
Former club owner Andrea Radrizzani has recently revealed that another manager was on the radar. Unai Emery was seriously considered as an option to take over at Elland Road.
But Radrizzani explained that the pursuit ended, as the club was about to be sold.
“I agreed to sell, but I made the mistake I’ve always advised others not to make – selling mid-season. The process dragged on, and rumours of a transfer began to spread, even internally.” he said, speaking to Calcio E Finanza.
“However, the team wasn’t doing well, and while previously, if I’d decided to change coaches, everyone would have followed me. In that situation, the partner, who was about to buy, trusted the management.”
“This led to a disastrous situation for the club, because we sank to the depths of the league table and I no longer found the strong and experienced coaches I wanted, like Unai Emery or Julen Lopetegui, ideal solutions to emerge from this situation.”
“Furthermore, I found myself in a difficult situation, detached from the club, in Italy, and with the management team taking the new buyer’s position.”
