The 49ers have built a formidable Leeds United team, and it is only a matter of time before the start losing great players. This happened when they went down to the Championship, but things have been different in the top flight.

Crysencio Summerville, Archie Gray and Georginio Rutter are just some of the names that left in recent seasons.

But the team is back up and running at full strength, thanks to how much the ownership have spent. Leeds can now boast of a first team squad with the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, James Trafford and Anton Stach.

All of these players were brought in as a result of smart recruitment, and the team has hugely benefited.

This summer saw the recruitment make a step up in terms of quality; the team went out and spent big money on key players.

Leeds United finally solved their goalkeeping situation by signing James Trafford, and added defensive pieces like Tarik Muharemovic and Nico Elvedi.

These players have been pivotal to the Whites’ start to the Premier League year. Daniel Farke’s side have nine points in their first six games, and sit in the middle of the table.

Performances from the new signings have caught the eye with Trafford and Muharemovic impressing.

News emerged last week that European clubs had been circling around the Bosnian defender. Leeds pounced and signed the 23-year old from Sassuolo ahead of the likes of Inter Milan.

According to the Football Insider, the Whites fear losing Muharemovic next year.

Per recent reports, the likes of Bayern Munich are keeping the Bosnian on their radar for 2027.

Can Leeds keep Tarik Muharemovic

Keeping players who are being targeted by bigger clubs is always a difficult road to walk. More often than not, clubs cannot resist the transfer fees and the players will not turn down a move.

Pascal Struijk decided to leave last year, hoping for new challenge – he joined Brighton who only finished six points above Leeds last year.

Muharemovic has hit the ground running and is one of the best players in the team. Letting him go will not be easy, given reports that the Whites want to keep him long-term.

The 49ers can do their best to keep him, but the decision will lie with the player.

He signed a contract in the summer and he’s only played 6 league games for the club since then. Now you say Leeds already fear losing him. Rubbish. Leeds hold all the cards on this one.

One question – Why other teams are able to keep hold of their players and not Leeds.?

the biggest problem with gossip is garbage sites like this trying to sell themselves instead of ignoring garbage coming out of anti LUFC trouble making mouths.
