Jason Cundy says Leeds have ‘no chance’ of beating Chelsea at Wembley

Leeds United came away from Old Trafford with a huge 2-1 win over Manchester United, moving six points clear of the relegation zone.

It was their first league victory at the ground in more than 45 years, and it could be a key moment in their bid to stay in the Premier League.

Noah Okafor was the difference-maker, scoring twice in a dominant first-half performance where Leeds created enough chances to add even more.

With Premier League survival looking likely, Leeds will soon shift their focus to the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea later this month and the possibility of playing in a cup final at the end of the season.

Jason Cundy shuts down Leeds United fan in heated Chelsea debate

Leeds United supporters are naturally in a buoyant mood after their first league win at Old Trafford in 45 years, and a Whites fan called into talkSPORT’s Sports Bar program hosted by Jason Cundy and Jamie O’Hara.

The Leeds fan predicted the Whites to stay up in the Premier League and ‘smash’ Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley later this month.

Cundy was not having any of that and insisted that the Whites supporters are getting a bit carried away after beating Manchester United on Monday night.

He insisted Leeds rode their luck against Chelsea in the two Premier League games and ended with a ‘dirty Leeds’ jibe.

Cundy responded to the Leeds fan and said, “Behave yourself, you are getting carried away.

“No chance [Leeds beat Chelsea]; You have ridden your luck.

“Dirty Leeds.”

Daniel Farke’s men will fancy themselves against the Blues

Chelsea haven’t had the best time against Leeds this season. They lost 3-1 at Elland Road late last year and were then held to a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge in February.

Leeds, on the other hand, have really enjoyed those matchups, taking four points from a possible six against one of their traditional rivals.

A Wembley semi-final is a different challenge altogether, and Chelsea probably have the edge when it comes to players who’ve been in these big moments before.

Still, those earlier results won’t be forgotten in a hurry, and Leeds will head into it believing they’ve got a genuine shot at reaching the FA Cup final.
