Largie Ramazani has completed a move to Burnley ahead of the transfer deadline. He joins the Championship club on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy.

This brings an end to his future after a long-standing saga this summer.

Many expected him to re-join Valencia, who were seriously interested, but failed to make a move at the last minute. Ramazani will now remain in England with the Clarets.

Beren Cross revealed the details of the transfer; a loan move with an obligation to buy; all parties are expected to reach these terms.

The terms are said to be achievable, and Leeds will make over £6.5 million.

In his first interview with club media after being signed, Ramazani spoke about joining Burnley.

“It feels amazing. I’m well aware of Burnley as a club from the competition we had a couple of years ago and it’s a great club.

“I know a few of the players here already too, so it’s a really exciting move for me and I’m ready to show what I can do and help Burnley get back to the Premier League.

“I have experience from playing in this league and creating that winning environment, so I’m hoping I can bring something to the team on and off the pitch.”

Largie Ramazani made a total of 30 appearances for the Whites in all competitions, scoring six goals and providing two assists.

Need for an attacking player is still priority at Elland Road

Daniel Farke had no plans for Largie Ramazani moving forward, so his exit will not really have an impact on the team.

But with Wilfried Gnonto already in Italy in position to sign for Fiorentina, there should be concern. Even though Leeds sources have said the deal will only go through when they find a replacement, things are now complicated.

Mykhailo Mudryk chose Spurs and now the Whites will have to look for an alternative with hours before the deadline.

Leeds should have also gotten a striker through the door with Joel Piroe going, but the club have not addressed that either.

It is going to be a very interesting transfer deadline day at Elland Road.
