Leeds United only have a few hours left to make more additions to their squad, and it seems they will only make one more new signing before the transfer window closes.
Daniel Farke indicated at the weekend that he feels there are gaps in his squad that need to be plugged before the transfer deadline, but the club are rapidly running out of options.
Leeds have an agreement in place to sign Nice full-back Melvin Bard on a loan-to-buy deal, and he will undergo a medical in the coming hours ahead of signing a contract.
However, the club’s interest in signing Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk suffered a major blow on Monday after Tottenham reached an agreement to sign him on loan.

Beren Cross delivers bad news on Leeds transfer front
Leeds chased Mudryk despite Chelsea turning down two loan offers, in the belief that the winger was open to joining Elland Road late in the window.
However, Tottenham’s entry in the final hours of the transfer window changed everything, and the Ukrainian opted to reunite with his former Shakhtar Donetsk boss Roberto De Zerbi in north London.
Leeds are still interested in bringing in a wide forward, but according to The Athletic’s Beren Cross, there is very little to suggest Leeds are looking at other options.
With hours left in the transfer window, there are no links of Leeds looking at a player of a similar profile.
The Whites are clear that they will not sanction Wilfried Gnonto’s loan move to Fiorentina despite the winger getting pictured in Fiorentina training gear in Florence.
Leeds made a last-ditch attempt to sign Harry Wilson on deadline day last summer, which ultimately didn’t happen. It remains to be seen whether they have a plan B up their sleeve in the final hours of the window.

As things stand, Leeds are only expected to complete the signing of Melvin Bard from Nice before the transfer window closes.
Daniel Farke is unlikely to get a versatile attacker who can operate on the right, and it doesn’t seem Leeds are going to sign a striker in the coming hours.
The 49ers are gambling on Dominic Calvert-Lewin staying fit again for most of the season and Lukas Nmecha scoring a few more goals this season.
However, Leeds could be one Calvert-Lewin injury away from being in a major crisis up front at some poin this season. It is a chance they are seemingly willing to take.
