Leeds United have completed the signing of five players ahead of Tuesday’s transfer deadline. It is believed that the club will push to add a few more before the window is over.
The latest news is that a deal has been agreed to bring Melvin Bard from France.
Daniel Farke will now get a backup for Gabriel Gudmundsson, whose recent injuries have drawn concern from around the club.
Beren Cross hinted that an attacker could be the profile Leeds push for before the deadline. And after Wilfried Gnonto was given permission to fly to Italy, a deal is on the cards.
Agent breaks silence on Leeds United transfer

Leeds United have seen a fair share of transfer sagas drawn out in this window.
The early pursuits of Julian Brandt and Shea Charles were clear examples. They had to wait for Brandt to make his decision, and were rebuffed when they sent bids to Southampton for Charles.
Both players ended up joining different clubs.
Moves for James Trafford and Michael Zetterer also took a lot of time. The Whites did their due diligence on every aspect of the Trafford deal as it was a club record transfer.
As for Zetterer, his move demanded the player be convinced.
Leeds signed the German keeper, allowing Lucas Perri to finally complete his loan move to Torino. Perri’s agent Leonardo Cornacini spoke to Tuttomercatoweb about the deal.
“The way this situation was handled from the beginning was impeccable. Of all the teams we spoke to, the Torino professionals were always honest and clear. All the dedication and commitment shown by Torino were crucial to our decision.”
“As always, negotiations weren’t easy; everyone was defending their own interests. However, the most important thing is that in the end, we were all happy and in agreement.”

This summer, the club have been able to land a long-term number one, as well as a quality attacking option in Harry Wilson.
The defence has received a boost with the additions of Tarik Muharemovic and Nico Elvedi.
There has been a stunning lack of additions to the attack and the midfield. So when Beren Cross reported that Leeds could add an attacker, there was a lot of optimism.
But with just hours before the deadline, the only addition has been Melvin Bard at left back.
As things stand, it is very unlikely that Leeds add any players before the deadline, but things are not impossible.
