Leeds United lost their final Premier League game of the season away to West Ham on Sunday. Before that game, fans had been treated to an exciting end to the campaign at Elland Road.
The Whites managed a last minute winner against Brighton which sent the fans into wild celebrations.
However, the team were unable to give the travelling support something to cheer about in the London stadium. Those fans did get their own enjoyment of the game, mocking the West Ham supporters when their team was set to be relegated.
Farke’s team was severely undermanned in the game on Sunday with multiple injury absences.
Goals from Jarrod Bowen, Callum Wilson and Taty Castellanos were enough to seal a 3-0 win for the home side. The performance was abysmal for this Leeds team, who had been unbeaten in the league over the last five games.
Clubs lined up for Leeds United star this summer
In the 78th minute, with the game already looking out of reach, Daniel Farke brought on Joel Piroe. The Leeds United striker came on and did not have any impact on the goalscoring as his team eventually lost 3-0.
Now, it looks like Sunday may have been Piroe’s last game for the Whites. According to The Athletic, the 26-year old could leave Elland Road in the summer after playing just over 200 minutes this season.
The report adds that the striker will have options in the summer, as the Leeds man will have a ”long list of suitors”.

Elland Road exit is the best option for Joel Piroe
Many forget that Joel Piroe was the top scorer in the Championship as Leeds United were promoted to the Premier League.
But the writing was on the wall when the team brought in two new center forwards in the summer window. Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha have done their jobs this season.
They have both contributed to many goals and key wins along the way. Piroe however, has not had many chances this season.
And when he has played, he has not been great – just one goal in all competitions.
It was unfortunate that he was relegated down the pecking order due to the quality of the two players above him, but that is how ruthless the top flight can be.
This summer is the perfect opportunity for the 49ers to sell Piroe and make some money of his exit.
