Leeds United have several important decisions to make this summer as they look to reshape the squad and bring in fresh talent ahead of the new season.
But recruitment is only part of the equation. Leeds are also likely to need player sales to create room for further investment, particularly with the Premier League’s Squad Cost Ratio regulations placing greater emphasis on financial sustainability.
Pascal Struijk and Wilfried Gnonto are among the players who could generate significant profit if they leave before the transfer window closes, making them potential candidates for sale.
At the same time, Leeds must also address the futures of several players who no longer appear to feature prominently in Daniel Farke’s plans. Largie Ramazani is one such case, and the club will be keen to find a suitable solution for the winger before the start of the new campaign.

Valencia are growing confident of signing Largie Ramazani
The Belgian winger spent last season on loan at Valencia, and the Spanish club are keen to take him back to the Mestalla in the ongoing transfer window.
However, there is a big gap between Leeds’ financial expectations and what Valencia want to offer despite the Spanish club’s CEO flying into England for talks earlier this month.
Valencia are desperate to sign Ramazani as he appears to be their priority target, and they are banking on getting a deal done to sign him this summer.
But there could be a breakthrough in sight, as according to Tribuna Deportiva, Valencia are growing more confident about signing the Leeds winger in the coming weeks.
It has been suggested that Valencia are confident Leeds will be willing to negotiate a deal on terms that suit all parties and make the winger’s return to Spain possible.
Leeds favour a permanent sale, but Valencia would prefer to sign him on loan with an option to buy.
His departure should be finalised soon
Farke’s tactical switch midway through last season played a major role in Leeds’ improvement, but it also left several natural wingers struggling to find a place in the team.
As the new system took shape, the likes of Wilfried Gnonto and Daniel James found opportunities harder to come by, while Noah Okafor was repositioned into a more central attacking role.
Ramazani was one of the biggest casualties of the change. The Belgian no longer seems to fit naturally into the way Farke wants Leeds to play, and the club will be hoping Valencia’s interest can be turned into a permanent transfer this summer.
From Leeds’ perspective, the sooner the situation is resolved, the better. Neither the club nor the player will want uncertainty hanging over pre-season preparations and the start of a new campaign.
There has long been a sense that Farke was never fully convinced by Ramazani, even during Leeds’ promotion-winning season in the Championship. Reports surrounding concerns over his attitude during his previous spell at Valencia are also unlikely to have strengthened his standing with the Leeds boss.
With pre-season fast approaching, finding a resolution to Ramazani’s future is becoming increasingly important, and it is an issue Leeds would ideally like to settle before preparations get underway.
