Leeds United could have a problem on their hands in the next couple of weeks. The club has already began their plans for the offseason and the upcoming transfer window.
At the end of the month, Karl Darlow, Illan Meslier and Alex Cairns will all be out of contract. This means the Whites could lose three first team goalkeepers in one summer.
And that would mean Lucas Perri would be the only first team goalkeeper under contract heading into next season.
Meslier will most definitely be leaving Elland Road after being relegated to third choice keeper. Since Daniel Farke made the decision, the Frenchman has not played a game for the first team.
Alex Cairns is also another expected to depart; he spent a lot of time with the U21s last year.
A recent report also indicated that Leeds could lose Karl Darlow, as there is no concrete update on his future.
Leeds United handed major boost in pursuit of Premier League star
The Karl Darlow situation at Leeds United has taken a turn over the last week, with reports that the Whites are keen on signing a new keeper.
This week saw The Chronicle link the club with Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope. The report indicated that the 34-year old could be on his way out as the Magpies reshuffle their goalkeeping department.
And this has already started as Fabrizio Romano reported on Friday that Newcastle have agreed a deal to sign Reims keeper Ewen Jaouen.
This move potentially opens the door for Nick Pope to leave the club. Any transfer for him would be expected to cost way below the £10 million he was signed for a few seasons ago.

News could hint at Karl Darlow’s future
After a spectacular season, most Leeds United fans would think Darlow would be handed a new contract.
But with the news emerging in recent weeks, it is pointing to a possible exit. The links to Nick Pope, and the fact that there has been no concrete update on potential talks is concerning.
At least the 49ers have moved fast to try and solve the goalkeeping problem, by identifying an alternative that could come at a relatively low cost.
Leeds need to go into next season with a better squad than they had this year, and it is clear that the 49ers are trying to do that in this summer.
