According to a report by TEAMTalk, Leeds United are not looking to sell Archie Gray anytime soon amidst transfer rumours.
The young midfielder is having a breakout season under Daniel Farke; he’s been instrumental to Leeds’ campaign this season. Gray has shown maturity wherever he has played on the field, be it in midfield or at right back recently.
Leeds United coach Daniel Farke is a big fan of the youngster and what he brings to the side:
“He is capable to play in different positions because of his skills and that’s definitely great value. He can play the full-back position, I think his natural position is obviously the midfield but we will see how his position develops over the next months and years.”
“For Archie, it’s definitely not a bad choice at times. We don’t play him there just to develop him, it’s more we’ve got the feeling for this game, we need a player there who is capable to handle the pace and the speed and the mobility of the opponent’s wingers.”
The English youngster has started 13 out of a possible 15 games for the Whites this season. He has paid the trust Farke has put in him.
According to TEAMTalk, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund are the front runners for the England youth international, but a source reveals both Leeds United and the player are relaxed and confident of securing his future at Elland Road.
