Man United definitely had their sights set on getting a result when they visited Elland Road last weekend. But they failed to get something against Leeds United.
Michael Carrick’s side took the lead and silenced the home crowd just before half time. Leeds went into the break down a goal but came out swinging in the second half.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored the only goal in the second period as both sides eventually shared the points.
The reverse fixture at Old Trafford will definitely be something every fan will be looking forward to. This weekend, Leeds United are up against Sunderland and just like against Man United, the Whites are the favourites for Sunday’s clash.

The Black Cats could not have imagined a worse start to their season; four points from seven games with their last win coming over a month ago. Regis Le Bris’ side will be desperate for a result when Leeds visit this weekend.
But the Whites will have their say in a clash that has been heated in the last few fixtures.
Sunderland beat Leeds at Elland Road earlier this year and Whites defender Gabriel Gudmundsson says the team have extra motivation going into Sunday.
According to him, Leeds should have won the last time out at the Stadium of Light, and this weekend could be the perfect chance to remedy it.
“Sunderland away is always difficult and we know that we have to be strong,” Gudmundsson told BBC Radio Leeds.
“It’s going to be a challenge, but also we definitely want to have revenge from last time we were there.
“We were the better team and should have won that game, so you really want to go there and get something out of it this weekend. That will be massive for us going into Bournemouth the weekend after which is another really tough away game.”

Elland Road defeat is all the motivation Leeds need
Sunderland nicked a late draw when both sides met at the Stadium of Light last season, but the result at Elland Road was more painful for Leeds fans.
They were in the middle of their best run in the season before Regis Le Bris’ side made the visit.
The Black Cats won the game 1-0 thanks to a controversial penalty, with Ethan Ampadu deemed to have handled the ball in the box.
That same game saw VAR miss a penalty after Pascal Struijk was fouled – an incident the Premier League Key Match Incident panel later voted for as a wrong decision.
Leeds players will not only be out for revenge, they will want a result to continue their impressive start to the season.
