Some areas of this Leeds United team need serious revamping ahead of next season. The first team squad cannot remain the same as it was last year.
Daniel Farke barely made it by with some of the options he had this past campaign.
Nothing was straightforward for the Whites in the Premier League; the had to fight for ever point and results were not easy to come by. But they still managed to avoid relegation.
A 14th placed finish should give enough optimism to fans ahead of the next campaign, but things will only get harder.
The second season in the top flight for promoted clubs is a very tricky stumbling block for some, the others that navigate it end up being consistent in the Premier League.
Leeds might need a goalkeeper, as the future of Karl Darlow is still in doubt ahead of the summer. Lucas Perri could be the only keeper under contract next month.
The midfield could also do with some additions considering how the team lacked creativity last year. And the attack sorely needs more options if Farke is to stand a chance next year.
Leeds United lose key target as medical confirmed
Center back is an area that most people outside Leeds United can predict will have some changes.
Pascal Struijk is yet to sign a new contract, and is 12 months into his current deal. Last year, the Whites rejected a huge bid for him, and this season he has attracted suitors.
Leeds can check off one potential replacement off the list if he leaves after Fabrizio Romano’s update.
Tromso center back Abubakar Sidi Kinteh has agreed to sign with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli. Per the report, terms have been sealed and the player is set for a medical.
Journalist Rudy Galleti linked Leeds with the young defender recently.

Which other options are Leeds looking at?
The Whites also have their eye on other options this summer – the main target being Ousmane Diomande. Sporting CP’s star center back has attracted suitors all across Europe recently.
His price tag could scare off clubs, with Leeds said to be ready to offer a record fee.
South Korean center back Lee Han-Beom is also said to be on the 49ers’ radar. The club have admired him for a while, and his performance at the World Cup caught the eye.
Union Berlin defender Diogo Leite is set to be a free agent soon, and he looks like an appealing prospect also.
Another Atrocious Headline
Same old story, one step behind everyone else, how serious are 49ers with transfers, seems they keep making smoke screens, get your finger out! 🙈
Don’t believe what you read here Malcolm. Most of it is speculative, regurgitated junk made up from other journalists usually unfounded ideas, in order to create advertising space. It has no use other than to amuse and annoy.
The misleading headline is disgraceful and the content of this journalistic junk is pure speculation and conjecture. Do they wonder why we ignore The Leeds Press?
It’s CENTRE not CENTER!
