Leeds United have been anticipating what to do on deadline day after missing out on a key target. Mykhailo Mudryk agreed to join Spurs on a season-long loan, ending any pursuit.

The Whites were pushing to complete a deal for the Ukrainian, who opted to join his former manager in London.

In the last 24 hours, Leeds have agreed deals to send out two of their attacking players.

Wilfried Gnonto is in Italy after being given the green light to fly out in anticipation of a move to Fiorentina. However, he is yet to formalize an official deal to join the Italian side.

Reports claim the 49ers will pull the plug if they are not able to find a replacement before the deadline.

And on Tuesday, Burnley announced the signing of Largie Ramazani on a season-long loan.

After the Belgian’s preference to join Valencia, the La Liga side failed at the last minute and the Championship club swooped in. He joins the Clarets on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy.

Ramazani’s departure as well as Joel Piroe’s leaves a hole in Daniel Farke’s squad and it could get even worse if Gnonto officially leaves.

According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, Leeds United have agreed a deal in principle with Frankfurt star Jean-Mattéo Bahoya.

Per Aouna, personal terms have also been agreed with the 21-year old as a medical has been scheduled. The Whites will have to work fast to get this deal over the line before the window closes.

49ers finally address squad issue

Losing Ramazani was not a problem since he did not play last season and was not in Farke’s plans.

But losing Gnonto in addition to Piroe was going to be problematic. Despite the duo not playing many minutes, they managed to fill in as rotation players or during cup games when the starters needed a rest.

Three players out without one replacement was bad, so the 49ers have done well to recruit a replacement.

Jean-Mattéo Bahoya is a young player who can play in the attack; he can compete with the current options and will also be a key piece for the future. They left it late but the club have made a great decision.
