Leeds United open talks over potential signing

Leeds’ search for an attacker has ended up in Turkey. Reports claim that the Whites are now pursuing a deal for Besiktas star Semih Kilicsoy. Fanatik is reporting that Leeds and Besiktas are already in talks, with ‘negotiations between the parties are expected to accelerate in the coming days’.
It is believed that Leeds want a loan deal with an option to buy the 19 year old. Kilicsoy had 11 goals in 23 games as a 17-year old when he broke into the first team. His form has taken a bit of a dip after new signings have taken minutes away from him. But the talent and potential is there for everyone to see.
Joel Piroe cannot play every game
One thing that has been overlooked since Piroe arrived at Elland Road is how much he plays. The striker has featured in 40+ games in his two seasons in West Yorkshire. Most of it is down to Daniel Farke not rotating, and the rest is down to the backup options available.

It might explain why Piroe can go long stretches without scoring, or playing poorly. He does not get rotated enough to keep his legs fresh. A signing like Kilicsoy could help take the load off his shoulders.
