Leeds United are preparing potential transfer targets ahead of the summer transfer window. Reports emerged after club sources spoke on their plans heading into the coming months.
Leeds have survived the Premier League and will be in the top flight next season. In order to stand a chance at continuously being in the division, they will need to improve on their current options.
Bringing in 10 new players massively helped the team boost the quality during this campaign. Anton Stach, Jaka Bijol, Gabriel Gudmundsson and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have been solid additions to the first team.
Going into the summer window, there are some issues that need to be addressed in the squad. The goalkeeping position is one, with three of the current first team options out of contract soon.
Premier League striker open to Leeds United switch
A new attacking addition could be on the radar for the Whites. It was reported a few months ago that the 49ers were looking at signing a new center forward in the summer transfer window.
Now, Sunderland star Wilson Isidor has been linked with a move to Elland Road. Former Premier League scout Mick Brown thinks the striker could leave his current club this summer.
âWilson Isidor could be somebody Leeds look at,â Brown told Football Insider.
âHe looks like he will be allowed to leave Sunderland because heâs not a regular part of the team at the moment and he will want to play more elsewhere.
âI would say thatâs the type of signing they usually make, a solid enough player in a position they need, but heâs not somebody who will necessarily improve them.
âIdeally, Leeds want a top-class striker who can help take them to another level, not just somebody who could be a good option because heâs available.â

Wilson Isidor is exactly what the club needs
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been a success for Leeds United this season, but the absence of a quality backup is one the club needs to address. Lukas Nmecha has done an okay job this season, but the team can improve on him.
And with Daniel Farke not a fan of Joel Piroe, the striker may be moved on when the summer window opens. Which means the Whites will need another body in the center forward position.
Isidor is the profile of striker Leeds have preferred this season; great height, can hold up play and can score goals. The 25-year old managed 12 goals in the Championship last season, and has netted five goals in the Premier League this campaign.
