Leeds United return to Premier League action this weekend. They host Newcastle United at Elland Road with the Magpies also having a solid start to the campaign.
The midweek defeat to Chelsea was a shocking one considering how the game started.
Leeds had a 2-0 lead early in the second half before the Blues were awarded a dubious penalty. Xabi Alonso’s side then went on an incredible run, scoring five goals to wrap up the game.
Fans were disappointed with Daniel Farke’s game management, with the team having zero response to Chelsea’s comeback.
The Whites have the perfect chance to put what happened on Wednesday night behind them as they return to the crowd at Elland Road.
Sky Sports pundit gives verdict on Leeds United clash

Both sides are coming into the game unbeaten to start the Premier League season.
Matthias Jaissle’s side have managed to remained without a defeat, despite facing Liverpool, Spurs and Bournemouth in their first three games. Leeds United also have a win and two draws.
Ahead of the game, Sky Sports pundit Jay Bothroyd has given his verdict on both teams.
“Leeds, Newcastle, I think it’s going to be a tough game,” Bothroyd said on Sky Sports.
“Leeds, obviously, fully of confidence from last year and they really believe they’re a Premier League side. They’ve got some really good individuals, [Daniel] Farke’s got them well organised, they play with a lot of energy.
“I think that’s very much the same as Newcastle. A really good manager, good individuals, [Yoane] Wissa’s back playing very well, [Anthony] Elanga’s on fire as well.”
He eventually predicted a draw after assessing the two sides.

Newcastle United attack will be a real threat
Just like in midweek, Leeds will be up against a very potent attacking side when Newcastle visit.
The last time out was not great for Daniel Farke’s side, and they will hope to concede less goals at Elland Road. The Magpies have scored six goals in three games and have a very pacy attack.
But there is hope that the Whites can limit such an attacking team.
They held Brentford to just one goal after Keith Andrews’ side had scored nine in their last two, and held Brighton who managed to score seven goals in games against Chelsea and Aston Villa.
If there is any team that can nullify attacking quality, it is Daniel Farke’s side.
