Leeds United return to Elland Road this weekend, as a tough clash awaits them in the Premier League. Opta’s Supercomputer has already ran the numbers on the upcoming game.
Daniel Farke’s men will be looking to turn things around after a crushing defeat to Chelsea midweek. The result will sting because the Whites had a 2-0 lead in the second half before the game ended 6-3.
Leeds’ defeat brought a lot more questions than answers following their bright start to the season.

Supercomputer predicts Leeds United clash against Newcastle

The home side will be up against Matthias Jaissle’s Magpies on Monday night.
They have also had an impressive start to the season that is very similar to how Leeds United have fared in the Premier League so far. A win over Spurs and two draws against Liverpool and Bournemouth means they are far from pushovers.
Leeds are also unbeaten in their first three league games, and will be hoping to continue that run at home.
Both sides look evenly matched, but Opta Analyst‘s Supercomputer predicts that the Whites are favourites heading into the game. Leeds have been given a 41.3% chance of a win, with Newcastle having 33.3%.
The chances of the game ending in a draw remain around 25.4%.

Home form will play a big part on Monday night
Since they were promoted last season, Leeds United have made Elland Road an uncomfortable trip for opponents.
They grabbed most of their points in front of the home crowd last season, and will no doubt rely on them this time around. The Elland Road atmosphere played a huge part in the draw against Brentford.
Keith Andrews’ side were very good on the day, but could not match the momentum the Leeds side had when the fans got behind them.
Opta’s Supercomputer has rightfully given the Whites the advantage because of their home form. Daniel Farke’s men have not lost a game in front of their home crowd since March.
Leeds have to show up and make the game count, especially after their disappointing trip to Stamford Bridge midweek.
