Reports this week say that Leeds United have ramped up their efforts to make a huge signing this summer. This news comes just days after the 3-0 win over Wolves at Elland Road.

According to these reports, the Whites are very interested in Ladislav Krejci. More details suggest that Leeds have been in active talk with the defender’s camp and believe a deal can be done in the summer. The talks have been described as positive, with the Whites believing that personal terms will not be an issue if a deal progresses that far in the coming months. The center back will join Wolves on a permanent deal following his loan, but will be available due to a relegation release clause in his contract.

The 27-year old provides an option with starting quality, and also has versatility – able to play in defence and midfield. Ladislav Krejci is seen as a good tactical fit for this Leeds team heading into the summer.

Premier League sides join race for Pascal Struijk

The Krejci news could mean a lot of things heading into the summer transfer window. Pascal Struijk has been linked to Premier League clubs over the last couple of months. The likes of Aston Villa and Newcastle are keeping an eye on him heading into next season. His ability on the ball, and his left-footedness seem to be what has caught the eye of these clubs.

Per SportsBoom, Bournemouth and Fulham are the latest clubs to join the chase for the Dutch defender. Struijk currently has over 12 months left on his current deal at Elland Road. The report adds that the 49ers want to tie him down, but will wait till the end of the season.

There is a real chance defender could leave Elland Road

Pascal Struijk joined the Whites in 2018 and came up through the youth sides into the first team. His first few games in the league were difficult under Bielsa, but the Dutch defender has learnt from that and developed with each season. Together with Joe Rodon, they have formed a solid partnership at the back for the Whites. But with the likes of Aston Villa, Newcastle and Bournemouth floating around, Struijk could be tempted to leave. If he rejects a new contract this summer, Leeds will be forced to sell him. European football could also affect the 26-year old’s decision on his future.
