With less than 12 hours left in the transfer window, Leeds United are under some pressure to secure the arrival of a couple more signings this summer.
Leeds have signed five new players this summer, but Daniel Farke made it clear at the weekend that there is still a lack of depth in certain areas of his squad.
The Whites are still looking to bring in a winger before the transfer window closes tonight, and will not sanction Wilfried Gnonto’s loan move to Fiorentina unless they sign a replacement.
Leeds have also been looking to sign a backup left-back due to Gabriel Gudmundsson’s fitness concerns, and it seems a new full-back’s arrival at Elland Road is imminent.

The Whites agree a deal to sign 26-year-old left-back
Gudmundsson returned to the squad in the 1-1 draw against Brentford after recovering from a hamstring injury he sustained during pre-season.
Leeds have been worried about a lack of a backup left-back this summer, and they are now close to finalising the arrival of a new defender on deadline day.
According to French sports daily L’Equipe, Leeds have reached an agreement over a deal to sign Nice left-back Melvin Bard for a move on the final day of the transfer window.
West Ham also approached the 26-year-old, but Leeds beat them to the defender by finalising a deal with Nice.
Bard is also more interested in playing in the Premier League than the Championship, and will undergo a medical at Leeds in the coming hours ahead of signing a contract.
He will join Leeds on an initial loan deal worth £860,000, and the Whites will have an option to buy him for around £4.3m.

Where is the striker signing?
It seems Leeds are content to end the summer transfer window without signing a backup striker. They are focused on signing Bard and a replacement for Gnonto.
With Leeds seemingly not interested in signing a striker today, it is safe to say that the club are taking a major gamble that could seriously backfire.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is the talisman upfront, but Leeds are gambling on keeping an injury-prone forward fit for large parts of the season for the second year running.
Lukas Nmecha is not a prolific goalscorer, and they allowed Joel Piroe to leave on loan to join West Ham this summer.
Daniel Farke hopes that his other forwards chip in with more goals this season, but if Calvert-Lewin is out for any length of time, the club would regret not signing a striker.
