Leeds United are waiting on multiple deals ahead of Tuesday’s deadline. The club has been able to secure key targets at the start of the window, but could not push for a few more.

Over the weekend, transfer activity has spiked around Elland Road as the club expects some deals to go through.

The main one will be the potential arrival of Michael Zetterer from Eintracht Frankfurt. Leeds have been pushing to complete the deal, and reached terms when the player came to England on Friday.

Nothing has been finalized, but it is a key deal the club are expected to get over the line.

That move would also see Lucas Perri go to Serie A side Torino.

Another potential transfer is Wilfried Gnonto leaving Elland Road. Fiorentina had an enquiry over the weekend, which developed into a transfer proposal for the winger.

A deal has been struck, and Leeds United have allowed the Italian to fly to complete the deal.

In that same process, the 49ers are pushing to sign Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk as a replacement. They had talks with the Blues last week, which were unfruitful, but there is confidence of reviving a transfer.

Largie Ramazani is also set to leave Elland Road before the deadline.

Reports from Spain have revealed that Valencia have yet to follow up on their interest for the winger. The La Liga side have pursued him for most of the window in a bid to sign him.

Ramazani is now believed to be deep in talks with Championship clubs over a deal.

El Chiringuito reporter German Munoz has revealed that Burnley are the club leading the race. The Clarets are closing on in on a deal for the winger, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

It is also believed that Ramazani is waiting on a ‘last minute’ call from Valencia.

Even more need for 49ers to land a winger

With news of Wilfried Gnonto leaving, the club are in the race to land a replacement.

Daniel Farke cannot lose a player who featured in 29 games last season without someone to replace him. The depth from last year has been depleted with the departure of Joel Piroe.

Noise of a new centre forward has died down ahead of the deadline.

And with Ramazani set to leave, finding a new attacker has become so important for the team.

Going into next season with little depth behind the main attack of Okafor, Calvert-Lewin and Wilson would be a huge mistake.
