Leeds United could lose a key piece ahead of Tuesday’s transfer deadline. Things have accelerated in the past few hours as the 49ers push to complete a few transfers.
Fiorentina have agreed terms to sign Wilfried Gnonto on a season-long loan deal.
Nothing has been formalized, but the Italian club are confident the move will go through. The Whites have allowed Gnonto to fly to Italy to complete the deal, however it will be on one condition.
Leeds are in search of a replacement for their winger before they allow him to complete a move.
According to reports, it looks like the 49ers have their sights set on a move for Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk.

So the terms are clear; Gnonto will be allowed to go to Fiorentina, but will not sign a deal until Leeds United can figure out a replacement.
This means the deal could fall through, with the Whites still working on Mudryk.
Another first team player could leave Elland Road before the deadline, with news emerging over the future of Largie Ramazani.

Spanish outlet Cadena SER Valencia have reported that Valencia have not given any updates to the Leeds United winger. The La Liga side have been heavily tipped as favourites to complete that deal.
Just last week, reports emerged that the club were ‘confident’ of signing Ramazani. But now things look very unlikely.
Per the report Ramazani is believed to be in talks with Championship clubs ahead of the transfer deadline. It was indicated last week that West Ham and Burnley had interest in a move for the winger.

Valencia’s gamble for Largie Ramazani seems to have backfired
Ever since the winger scored six goals in the second half of the season for the Spanish side, they have been interested.
The La Liga club’s CEO even flew to England to hold talks with club officials over a summer move.
However, they have not made any concrete offers according to Leeds’ demands. The Whites are said to want a permanent deal to recoup their initial £10 million outlay on the winger.
But Valencia could not afford it.
So what the Spanish side did was to wait late in the window and hope Leeds’ asking price lowered. And it has not, which could see them lose out on a key target.
