Four players were left out of the Leeds United squad that made the trip to the US for pre-season. Since Daniel Farke took over, fans can infer the plans for first team players right from the summer.
Last year, it was Patrick Bamford who was left out and told he was not in the club’s plans anymore.
The veteran striker terminated his deal and left as a free agent.
This time around, four first team players were left out of the club’s plans. Max Wober, Largie Ramazani, Joe Gelhardt and Jack Harrison were not involved in the training camp in North America.
Leeds had informed them to sort out their futures ahead of the new season.
Leeds United could be forced into sale of first team star
And the 49ers have managed to handle most of these exits the right way.
Leeds United terminated Max Wober’s contract, with the Austrian defender joining Schalke on a free transfer. His market value had declined and he was not worth keeping for another year on his wages.
The 49ers managed to sell Jack Harrison to a club in the MLS.
Joe Gelhardt finally got his permanent move to Hull City, who were mulling over a transfer all summer. The forward will now have a real chance to prove his quality in the Premier League.
Largie Ramazani remains the only one out of the four still at the club.
The winger did not report for pre-season and has been training on his own this summer. Valencia have serious interest, but nothing has progressed past the talks both clubs had earlier this summer.
Spanish outlet Superdeporte are reporting that the La Liga side plan on signing Ramazani for less than £4.28 million or another loan deal.

Will the 49ers cave in and sell Ramazani?
As it stands, there is just over a week till the transfer deadline closes.
Ramazani is still training away from the club, and might not have any suitors apart from the Spanish side.
Leeds already consider him gone, as he was not even given a jersey number for this coming season.
It is all but confirmed that he will not be at Elland Road next month. Whether he moves to Valencia or elsewhere is a whole other conversation on its own. The 49ers made a decision when it came to Max Wober.
He had little value after two major injuries and his wages were not worth carrying, so they terminated his deal.
But with Ramazani, he still has value, which the club see as more than what Valencia want to pay. Ultimately, it will be down to the ownership to decide what to do with the Belgian.
We must not let Valencia and Ramazani hold us to ransom. I’d rather see us lose money than let them get their way in this underhand manner.
He is going to bring us I. 7-10 million. That’s his value. If Valencia have the money he is yours, if you can’t afford him then tough. No different to any player Leeds are bidding on. We wanted Shea Charles, the fee was more than we wanted to pay so we walked away. There is no cut price anything going on.
Tell Valencia to pay the fee or we’ll loan him to anyone else.
