Daniel Farke continues to do a great job at Leeds United this season. With 33 games gone, the German is set to guide the Whites to another season of top flight football.
Things started off very rough in the league, when Leeds were not good and some of the players needed time to gel. Things reached a critical point just before December, with the club being in very poor form. The Whites could not pick a point from anywhere and briefly dropped into the relegation zone.
However, Farke turned things around in a huge way. The Leeds boss made some changes to the team, as well as the tactics, which lead to the club going on a long unbeaten run into the new year.
Former Leeds United target confirmed as new club boss
That period near the end of the year was a very difficult period for Leeds United fans. Daniel Farke was under pressure, and needed to change things, which he did with success. During that part of the season, there were reports that the 49ers were looking at other options to replace him.
One of these coaches was former Gladbach boss Marco Rose. The former RB Leipzig coach was tipped to take over at Elland Road, before Farke got things back on track. He was recently linked with taking over Bournemouth after Andoni Iraola announced that he was leaving at the end of the season. And as of Monday, the Cherries have officially confirmed that the 49-year old German is their next coach.
Rose will sign a three-year deal with the Premier League club, who were said to be very keen on his coaching style of play and philosophy.

49ers decision set to pay off
The Leeds United ownership decided to stick with Daniel Farke during that period, and the immediate response was great. The Whites picked up enough points to stay afloat in the battle for survival. And with five games left in the season, they are a few results away from securing another campaign in the top flight. Farke has done a great job, and some will even argue that he did all this with a team that is considered not good enough to survive. This might play a role in the summer, with recent reports that the 49ers will decide on the German’s future at Elland Road.
