This season’s campaign has brought smiles back to the face of Leeds United fans. After losing the playoff final last year, the summer saw a host of changes at Elland Road.
Most of the club’s best players departed. With a host of exits following. Before the start of the season, Daniel Farke had to push for signings. A flurry of activity near the end of the window brought in some new faces. Eventually it has all turned out well, as Leeds have been promoted to the Premier League, and now they can win the Championship this weekend.
A lot of fans had negative feelings towards the players who left, seeing it as them being reluctant to fight for promotion again. Jack Harrison was one of the players who felt the full wrath of supporters, as he joined Everton on another loan deal following that summer.

The 28-year old has been on loan at Goodison Park for the last two seasons, and he has hinted that he sees a future for himself at Everton:
“I want to contribute as much as I can to this club. It’s been amazing being here, I know it’s just on loan but hopefully we can see what happens going forward.”
Earlier this week, there was a report that David Moyes was open to signing Harrison on a permanent deal. And just hours later, TEAMtalk have revealed that Everton have opened talks with Leeds over signing the forward.
Jack Harrison sale could fund summer transfer
No fee has been mentioned, but one would assume that Leeds would not take less than the £11million he was initially signed for in 2021. And with Leeds now in the race for Cameron Archer, that sum could take care of the transfer fee. Southampton reportedly value the England U21 international around £10million to £15million. Leeds can now put the whole Jack Harrison saga behind them.
