Leeds United have not made one signing yet, rather, the club have been dealing with the current first team players. The Whites’ first major business this summer was renewing Ethan Ampadu’s deal.
Club chairman Paraag Marathe revealed that the club had zero reservations over giving the club captain an extension.
Daniel Farke spoke about his future towards the end of last season, and urged the ownership to ambitious when it comes to matters on the pitch. Leeds spent over £100 million last summer.
That ended up being a big reason why the club avoided relegation this past season.
But going into their second Premier League campaign, things need to go even better for them to stand a chance of survival.
Harry Wilson set for Leeds United medical
Leeds United have been operating under the radar for most of this transfer market.
Club sources rubbished a deal for Sporting CP star Hidemasa Morita near the end of the season. It was believed that Leeds had not completed their summer shortlist.
David Ornstein of The Athletic has confirmed that Harry Wilson is set for a medical as a move draws closer to Elland Road.
The midfielder’s deal with Fulham expires next week, and it is now clear where he has decided his next destination will be.
Just this week, it was revealed that he turned down offers from clubs, and now he is set to join the Whites ahead of next season. Per the report, it is indicated that the deal is long-term with a high salary.

Daniel Farke gets some quality in the team
Leeds boss Daniel Farke has been crying out for a creative midfielder since the club were in the Championship.
Failed attempts for Gustavo Hamer and Fabio Carvalho meant that Brenden Aaronson was deployed in the number 10 role. And that worked out as the Whites were eventually promoted.
This is a big move for the 49ers, and shows some intent.
Last summer, fans complained that the team lacked ambition after they failed to land big names in the transfer window.
With Wilson now through the door, there is optimism that the club will push on and add more quality. Leeds needed someone who could contribute goals and assists last season, and they have that with the former Fulham man.
