Huge Jack Harrison update – future of Leeds United star could be decided soon

When Leeds United fans heard that Jack Harrison was returning to Elland Road, there was a bit of shock. The forward was expected to complete a move this year.

After two consecutive loan deals at Goodison Park, everyone expected the Toffees to sign him on a permanent deal. However, it did not go that way, and Jack Harrison is a Leeds United player once again.

Fans have been happy to see the back of him, as they feel he jumped shit as soon as the club was relegated. The forward was among a handful of first team stars who immediately sough moves away after relegation was confirmed. Max Wober was one, and that decision reportedly infuriated Daniel Farke.

With pre-season in the distance, everyone at Elland Road is keen to see what happens with the 28-year old this summer.

Now, there is a huge update about the players’ future. According to Chris Bascombe of the Telegraph, Everton will consider bringing Jack Harrison back this summer. The Toffees are overseeing a mass clean up of the squad; up to 15 players were allowed to leave on free transfers this month.

With most players gone, Everton can now prepare their plans to build the squad again, and will consider a move for Harrison. David Moyes was a big fan of the forward last year. Harrison was one of the players with the most appearances in the team.

Leeds need to let Harrison go

It is time for both parties to part ways. Harrison has not kicked a ball at Elland Road in years, and already wants to play elsewhere. The best Leeds can do for him is to let him go. As a bonus, the club can finally write his wages off their books this summer.
