Luke Ayling will miss this Saturday’s game against West Ham due to a knee injury sustained in the 1-1 draw with Newcastle United.
That means that Charlie Cresswell is likely to make his Premier League debut in the heart of defence after impressing in the penalty shootout victory over Fulham.
Gabby Agbonlahor told Football Insider that Cresswell will be looking to make a name for himself: “It’s hard.
“As much as Phillips can probably do a job back there, Leeds will miss him massively in midfield, running the game.
“I’m sure Bielsa will look at giving the young lad a chance. Sometimes when you give a young lad a chance they show they can do a job.”
