Leeds United are in the market to add more attacking talent to their squad, as it was clear in their 0-0 draw against Manchester United on Saturday in Stockholm that they need more forward thrust in their team.
The Yorkshire giants are aware that they cannot expect Joel Piroe to carry the weight of Leeds’ attack in the Premier League like he did in the Championship last season, when he finished at the top of the scoring charts with 19 goals in the second tier of English football in the 2024/25 campaign.
Leeds United want to sign a striker who can lead the line in the Premier League next season, but they also want to bring in someone younger as a squad option as well as part of their plans to replenish their forward line.
Patrick Bamford has been told to find a new club, and Leeds are also prepared to sell Mateo Joseph this summer if a club meet their ÂŁ10m asking price, despite rejecting an offer from Real Betis last week.
Can you name the team Leeds United sold these players to?

Leeds United face Ipswich Town competition for Chelsea’s Marc Guiu

Marc Guiu was part of the Chelsea squad that won the Club World Cup in the United States earlier this month, but he is set to leave the club this summer.
The 19-year-old striker was snapped up from the Barcelona youth set-up last summer, and he scored six times in seven appearances for Chelsea in the Europa Conference League.
The Blues want to loan him out this summer, and Leeds are interested in taking him to Elland Road as part of their transfer plans.
However, according to journalist Sebastien Vidal, Ipswich are also interested in snapping up the young Chelsea forward this summer.
Ipswich are looking to go straight back up to the Premier League under Kieran McKenna, and the club want Guiu as part of their promotion push.
Guarantees over playing time would be the key, as Chelsea would not want one of their talented youngsters to warm the bench at a loan club next season.
Signing Guiu would be a major risk
The Spaniard has three Premier League appearances under his belt, but he is largely untested in the top flight of English football.
His goals in the Europa Conference League showed that he has talent, but he was playing for Chelsea against lower-ranked European clubs in that competition.
There is nothing to suggest that the Spaniard could make an impact for a Leeds side who will be battling to survive in the Premier League next season.
He would not be the first choice at Leeds, but there is no guarantee that he would be a solid back-up at Elland Road.
A move to the Championship and Ipswich makes more sense to Guiu at this stage of his career.
