The journey to the Premier League has not been an easy one for Leeds United. When they went down in 2023, there were a lot of things wrong with the club.
That was shown in that summer, where many players sought an exit following relegation.
Most of them did not want to play in the Championship and found moves away from Elland Road. Daniel Farke was tasked to guide the team back to the top flight when he was hired.
He almost achieved this in his first season in charge, but fell at the final hurdle.
Leeds lost the Championship playoff final, and the aftermath was brutal. The team was raided for their best talents by Premier League sides; they lost key players like Archie Gray and Crysencio Summerville.
Despite this, Farke managed to win promotion in the following season.

In the 2024/25 campaign, Leeds United played the best attacking football in the Championship, scoring over 80 goals.
Their front four of Joel Piroe, Brenden Aaronson, Dan James and Manor Solomon were devastating in transition. But after promotion, this attack was not kept together and the team was revamped for their top flight return.
Solomon was keen on a move, but Leeds snubbed the chance last summer.

The winger bounced around two clubs on loan last season, failing to make an impression at Villarreal and Fiorentina. As a result, Spurs have made a decision to sell him this summer.
Roberto De Zerbi is planning for a new winger, and Solomon will be shipped.
According to journalist Kat Lucas, Hull City are the latest side to join the race for the former Leeds United winger. West Ham are the other side keen on a move for the 27-year old.

Leeds need an addition to the attack in this window
Per Sky sources, Leeds United are keen to add a few more players before the transfer deadline passes.
Among these include potential deals for a striker and an attacking midfielder who can play out wide. It is clear the team need more firepower after how their attacking options disappointed last season.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin had to carry the attacking burden, and only got support from Okafor and Nmecha.
Harry Wilson’s arrival is a positive step, but two or three more attackers will be needed if the team are to post a challenge this season.
