Deadline day was a key 24 hours for Leeds United in their start to the new season. The Whites managed to pull off some deals despite many thinking they were done with their transfer business.
The 49ers had done most of their transfers in the middle of the summer.
They brought in James Trafford, Tarik Muharemovic, Harry Wilson, Nico Elvedi and Michael Zetterer. After these signings, the club looked to have slowed down just days before the deadline.

Fiorentina came in with a proposal for Wilfried Gnonto, and Leeds United agreed to the move initially.
But the club were adamant that they had to sort out a replacement before the deadline passed. The 49ers also managed to strike a deal to sign Melvin Bard as a backup left back.
Leeds eventually added Jean-Matteo Bahoya to their attack, with Gnonto going the other way.
The Italian winger has since gotten off to a great start, with a goal in just his third appearance for the club. Wilfried Gnonto has impressed many around the club, and has earned many plaudits.
FiorentinaUno have disclosed some details about the Leeds star’s loan move on deadline day.
According to their version of events, Gnonto had to wait the whole day for the transfer to go through. And when it did, the winger was emotional after the deal was formalized.
The report claims that Gnonto was in tears and ‘cried with joy’ when the move was sealed. People around the club believe that the winger’s emotions are a good sign for the season ahead.

Wilfried Gnonto is unlikely to return to Elland Road
The loan deal for Gnonto has no obligation, but with how the winger has felt about a new start, he might not be keen to return soon.
If he plays well and continues to find the back of the net, Fiorentina will trigger the buy option.
Even if the Italian side do not sign him, it is unlikely he returns to Elland Road. Leeds seem to have made Jean-Matteo Bahoya their long-term project with what club chiefs have said.
Wilfried Gnonto has the chance to get a fresh chance after stagnating at Leeds for the last few seasons.
So it is likely that the club do sign the French forward, and eventually sell Gnonto next summer.
