Leeds United continued their summer business on Friday by completing a ÂŁ34m deal for Tarik Muharemovic, their second signing of the transfer window.

The Bosnia international arrives as the replacement for Pascal Struijk, who left for Brighton earlier this summer, giving Daniel Farke another quality option in the centre of defence.

The Whites have also added Harry Wilson on a free transfer to strengthen their attack and are still looking to bring in one more centre-back with several defenders on their radar.

Meanwhile, there is plenty for Leeds supporters to watch away from Elland Road too. Several former Whites are expected to be on the move this summer, with one of them potentially securing a switch to a Champions League club.

Second bid rejected for ex-Leeds United star

Former Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville looks increasingly likely to leave West Ham before the transfer window closes, with clubs from the Premier League, Serie A and the Saudi Pro League all showing interest.

Manchester United have considered a move for the Dutchman as they search for a replacement for Marcus Rashford, but Roma have moved into pole position in the race for his signature.

Summerville is believed to be open to joining the Serie A side, and Gian Piero Gasperini’s men are stepping up their pursuit in a bid to bring him to the Italian capital.

Roma saw a ÂŁ34m offer rejected by West Ham over the weekend, but the Italian club are pushing hard to secure an agreement with the Hammers.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the Hammers rejected another offer from Roma for the Dutch winger.

The latest offer was more than ÂŁ38m, but West Ham are holding out for more money this summer.

Roma are still intending to sign the winger and are now working on tabling a third bid for Summerville in the coming days.

Manchester United seem out of the race for Crysencio Summerville

Manchester United have kept tabs on Crysencio Summerville throughout the summer and have already held talks with his representatives over a potential move to Old Trafford.

Any deal, though, has depended on Marcus Rashford leaving first. With Barcelona opting not to make his loan move permanent, Manchester United have been left searching for a buyer, delaying their plans to bring in a replacement.

That delay appears to have handed Roma the advantage. The Serie A club are pushing hard to sign Summerville, who is understood to be keen on the move, leaving Manchester United on the verge of missing out.

After seeing Karl Darlow join Manchester United earlier this summer, Leeds supporters will at least be relieved that another popular former White is unlikely to follow him to Old Trafford.
