Leeds United made their second signing of the summer on Friday, completing a £34 million deal for Tarik Muharemovic.

The Bosnia international arrives as the club’s replacement for Pascal Struijk, who joined Brighton earlier in the transfer window, handing Daniel Farke an immediate solution at the heart of his defence.

Elsewhere, Leeds have boosted their attacking options with the free signing of Harry Wilson and are continuing their search for a creative midfielder to add more spark in the final third.

Leeds fans also have eyes on several of their former stars, who could be on the move again this summer, and one of them could end up playing in the Champions League next season.

Fabrizio Romano confirms talks for ex-Leeds United hero

Former Leeds star Crysencio Summerville will leave West Ham this summer, and he has had suitors in the Premier League, the Saudi Pro League and Serie A.

Manchester United are interested in taking him to Old Trafford as Marcus Rashford’s replacement. However, Roma are now leading the race to sign him.

Summerville is open to a move to the Stadio Olimpico, and Gian Piero Gasperini’s side are pushing hard to take the Dutchman to the Italian capital.

According to Fabrizio Romano, West Ham have rejected Roma’s opening bid of £34m for Summerville.

However, the Serie A giants remain confident of striking a deal after getting the player’s green light, and talks continue between the two clubs.

But they cannot be too complacent, as Aston Villa are also interested in the winger and have the funds to do a deal following the £117m deal to sell Morgan Rogers.

Unai Emery is a fan of Summerville, and the club are considering getting involved in the race to sign the Dutchman this summer.

Crysencio Summerville is unlikely to join Manchester United

Manchester United remain interested in Summerville and have already held talks with his representatives over a potential move to Old Trafford this summer.

However, they cannot make a concrete offer to sign the winger until they can finalise Marcus Rashford’s departure in the ongoing window.

Rashford’s future remains uncertain after Barcelona refused to take up the option to sign him after his loan stint ended.

Manchester United are keen to move him and secure a replacement. However, the delay in his departure is clogging their transfer plans.

Roma or Aston Villa are likely to finalise an agreement for Summerville while Manchester United wait to sell Rashford.

With Karl Darlow joining Manchester United, Leeds fans would hope they do not have to see one more ex-Whites star in Red Devils colours next season.
