Daniel Farke has several important decisions to make this summer, but one Leeds player now appears increasingly likely to leave Elland Road before the new season begins.
With last season’s impressive 14th-place Premier League finish behind them, Leeds have turned their full attention towards the transfer window and the challenge of building a stronger squad for next year.
The club are keen to add more quality and game-changing talent in several positions, but recruitment is only part of the equation. Leeds also recognise the need to move players on as they look to reshape and refresh the squad.
Several members of the current group have already been linked with exits, including Pascal Struijk, Wilfried Gnonto and Lucas Perri. Largie Ramazani is also likely to leave with Valencia now in talks with the Whites over a move.
Largie Ramazani sends a message ahead of potential departure
Leeds allowed Largie Ramazani to join Valencia on loan, and a solid second half of the season means Los Che are keen to have him back at the Mestalla.
Carlos Corberan is a fan of the winger and is keen to have him as part of his Valencia squad in the 2026/27 season.
His loan stint at Valencia has ended, and the winger has expressed his gratitude towards the Los Che supporters and the Mestalla on Instagram.
He wrote on his personal Instagram profile: “Mestalla. Thank you.”

The Belgian winger enjoyed his time at Valencia and is believed to be keen to return to the Mestalla in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Valencia CEO Ron Gourlay is in England for talks with Leeds, who are keen to move the winger on before the start of the 2026/27 campaign.
The Spanish club are keen to see Leeds drop their financial demands, while also pushing to convince Ramazani to agree to a pay cut.
He needs to leave Leeds
Farke’s switch in formation midway through last season proved to be a game-changer for Leeds, but it also left several natural wingers struggling to fit into the new system.
Players such as Gnonto and Daniel James saw their roles diminish, while Noah Okafor was repurposed as a more central attacking option.
The tactical shift has arguably had the biggest impact on Largie Ramazani, who no longer appears to have an obvious role in the current setup. Leeds will be hoping that interest from Norwich City and Valencia turns into something more concrete over the coming weeks.
Both the club and the player’s camp are likely to want a resolution before pre-season begins, rather than allowing uncertainty to linger throughout the summer.
Farke was never fully sold on Ramazani during Leeds’ Championship campaign, and reports of concerns over the winger’s attitude during his time at Valencia are unlikely to have helped his cause.
With pre-season now fast approaching, finding a solution to Ramazani’s situation is one issue Leeds would ideally like to have resolved before preparations for the new campaign get underway.
When journalists pontificate concerning career choices for professional footballers without intimate knowledge of the circumstances that prevail in the lives of individuals it is fair to wonder if a little understanding and empathy would arise from a civilised conversation with the subject and give him a sporting chance to explain his considered options.
