Leeds United will hold talks with Daniel Farke this summer. The German’s deal at Elland Road expires next year.
Farke has lead this Leeds team to a great season as they avoided relegation and made an FA Cup semi-final for the first time in over 30 years. The Leeds boss and the club were initially set to hold talks during the season.
But they both agreed to move it till after the campaign; Farke was very vocal about wanting to stay at the club.
However, he made it clear that they need to match his ambition.
Which means that this summer will hold a lot of importance as the team plan for next season.
Leeds United could sign up to five players this summer
Leeds United announced that Ethan Ampadu signed a new deal at the club, and will remain with the Whites until 2030. This could indicate that other renewals are on the way.
Daniel Farke will obviously be among the top priorities, alongside Karl Darlow.
The Leeds stopper has been outstanding this season, and even replaced new signing Lucas Perri in goal.
Club chief Paraag Marathe has said that the 49ers will continue to back the team on the pitch and invest in the transfer market. And plans for the upcoming summer window have emerged.
Per TEAMtalk, Leeds United could sign four of five players this summer. Last year saw the team bring in 10 new players for over £100 million, and it could be possible that the club invests again.

Which areas of the team could be improved
Last season was great, but going into next season, the team has to do even better. This means that the Whites will have to add more quality players that can make an impact in the first team.
The goalkeeping department might be the first to be addressed, with up to three first team players set to leave. Karl Darlow, Illan Meslier and Alex Cairns are out of contract this month.
Even if Leeds to give Darlow a new contract, the might still sign another keeper.
Center forward is also an area which should be addressed; Leeds cannot go into next season solely relying on Dominic Calvert-Lewin. A player that can compete with him would be ideal.
The defence and midfield could also do with some additions to strengthen the depth on the bench.
