The international break is underway and some Leeds United stars have a big chance to prove themselves. The club’s start to the season has caught many by surprise.
Last year, Leeds lost two of their first four games but this time around the club are unbeaten in the Premier League.
Daniel Farke’s side are in fifth place on the table and are on pace with some top clubs in the league. Their schedule to start the year has not been easy, facing Nottingham Forest, Brighton and Brentford.
And some players have had a very bright start in the first few weeks.
That was acknowledged before the international break. Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s three goals in five games earned him a callup to the England national team.

Anton Stach was a consistent Leeds United performer last year, and he has continued into this season.
He scored the winner in the first league game against Nottingham Forest. So it was no surprise when Jurgen Klopp named him in a 44-man squad for this international break.
Klopp intends to use this window to assess new faces as Germany build towards the next two tournaments.
Stach will be disappointed with his first outing under the former Liverpool coach. The midfielder only managed to complete six passes in his 26 minutes on the pitch and failed to win a ground duel.
Germany were held to a draw by the Netherlands in the Nations League.
Since the game ended, the Leeds star has taken to Instagram, speaking about his disappointment that the team could not pick up three points.
“Proud to be on the pitch for Germany again. Obviously disappointed that we couldn’t win yesterday. But we keep working.”

Anton Stach will get another chance under Klopp
Luckily for the Leeds star, Germany have three more games ahead of them during this break.
Up next for Jurgen Klopp’s side is a game against Greece, then Serbia before they face Greece away from home in the next week. There will be no shortage of opportunities for the 44 players called up.
Stach will get another chance to impress as he hopes to put his name in contention for a place in the team.
Many national teams are preparing towards the European championships in 2028 and the World Cup in 2030.
