Leeds United have addressed major concerns across the squad in this transfer window. However a few final touches remain ahead of the deadline.
The 49ers have brought in four new players ahead of the new season.
Leeds kick off their Premier League campaign away to Nottingham Forest on Saturday. Before the game, Daniel Farke admitted that he is pleased with the business done so far.
But he did hint that the club would push for a few more arrivals.
The Whites are looking to address the goalkeeping situation, and are in talks to bring in another attacking player. Leeds United thought they had resolved their problems in goal when they landed a move for James Trafford.
Trafford arrived for a record fee and will be the club’s long-term number one. But since he arrived, the situation around the backup keeper at Elland Road has been complex.
Leeds United transfer deal is complicated
Lucas Perri has been expected to leave for weeks, with a deal on the table for him.
The Brazilian is awaiting his transfer to be completed by Torino. However, the Serie A side have to finalize details before they can sign him this summer and now there has been a key development as Juventus have joined the race.
Leeds are having issues of their own when it comes to signing a goalkeeper.
The Athletic reported that agreement had been reached with Eintracht Frankfurt over Michael Zetterer. But the player’s agent recently denied the links and said there was no transfer.
BILD are now reporting on the situation in Germany.
Frankfurt want to sign a new keeper, but must offload one first. Zetterer and Santos are the current options at the club; however the report indicates that neither will be ‘forced out’.
The 31-year old is happy to stay, but head coach Adi Hutter is not keen on keeping either keeper.

It will take a lot of persuasion
Leeds now have to reach personal terms with Michael Zetterer in order to facilitate a deal.
He wants to stay in Germany, but if the 49ers can convince him to leave, it would make things much easier for Frankfurt who want to sell.
It is always a complex situation bringing in a player who knows he will be a backup. The Whites suffered from this with Sebastiaan Bornauw, who played just 17 games last season and asked for a move this summer.
Bornauw has joined HSV on loan till the end of the season.
The decision will lie ultimately in the hands of Zetterer, who will have to be convinced by the offer in order to consider an exit.
