As they prepare for a new season, Leeds United will be encouraged to scout far and wide for talents. They will play Premier League football next season, and will need quality additions.
Their last transfer window when they were promoted saw the club sign Illan Meslier and Raphinha from French teams, Rodrigo and Diego Llorente from La Liga, and Robin Koch from the Bundesliga. All these players helped the club to stay up that season.
Leeds will hope their recruitment can match the levels from a few years ago. The club will be boosted by the £80million financial injection they will receive from Premier League promotion.

Leeds have been linked with multiple goalkeepers over the past few weeks, as Illan Meslier is set to leave the club after losing his place. The Whites are also reportedly interested in bringing back Kalvin Phillips this summer.
According to Africa Foot, the club have shortlisted a surprise target for this summer – Joyskim Dawa. The FCSB star plays his football in Romania, but was part of the Europa League campaign this season. The report claims that Leeds have held a long interest in signing the 29-year old since January.
Dawa would reportedly be available for a bargain £3million fee.
Joyskim Dawa is not the kind of player needs for next season
Dawa is a talented player, but at this point in time, he is not what Leeds United need for the Premier League next season. Quality across board is needed. Leeds already have good center backs in Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk, if they do want a new defender, he has to be a huge upgrade.

Joyskim Dawa only started playing top flight football in a strong league in Europe in 2017, and was a regular starter at club level from 2020. It is better that the club find another target, even with the bargain fee.
