Daniel Farke’s future at Leeds United has been a topic of discussion since last season ended. And it does not seem like coming to an end anytime soon.
And despite all the noise, the Whites have gotten off to a great start to the season – unbeaten in five league games.
Things are going very well at Elland Road, with the team having navigated a very difficult schedule. They have faced Nottingham Forest, Newcastle, Brighton and Brentford.
The new summer signings have also made an impression early in the season.
James Trafford has been solid, and Tarik Muharemovic and Nico Elvedi have been positive contributors.

Farke purposely refused to answer questions over his future in the weeks leading to the transfer deadline. And even after the deadline he has not given a straightforward answer over his future.
Leeds United managing director Robbie Evans made it clear that the executives and Farke are on the same page.
BBCs Adam Pope has given an update on the situation, stating that there is not much pressure despite the time that has passed.
“I remain confident an agreement will be reached. I believe time pressure is not as much of an issue as many feel.
“Ultimately, both parties are in strong positions. Farke’s stock is high and the club is performing well on many fronts with him at the helm of the football side.”
This continues the reports since the summer, where it has been reported that both sides want to agree to a deal.
So as things stand, it remains just a matter of time.

Fans should be patient over the decision
Everything points to the fact that both parties will come to an agreements in the coming weeks or months.
But it does feel like Farke and the club think the contract will be a distraction given their start to the season. Leeds are on a great run and the players are performing at a very high level.
Fans should be patient, as the deal will eventually be agreed in the near future.
Having the club be in great form, playing well and winning games is better than just announcing a new contract. Even if it takes to the end of the season, it will be a good decision by the 49ers.
